Our Mission Statement To plan, initiate and maintain comprehensive, integrated and cost-effective solid waste management services and facilities for the MOSA community that meet the objectives of receiving, moving, processing and disposing of waste in a safe and environmentally sound manner to create a clean and healthy environment. Letter from the Director Welcome to MOSA's website and thanks for visiting. MOSA is committed to working with the member counties to provide environmentally sound solid waste practices for our collective constituency. We have tried to make this site useful to a wide range of visitors. Basic information relative to our transfer station locations, hours of operation, and current rate structure should help the first time users. In depth information on the Public Authorities Law, the Service Agreement between MOSA and the three Participating Counties, the operating budgets, financial statements and the GAT calculations will assist those with a more in-depth interest to understand MOSA's background and financial position. It is also our desire to use this site to keep visitors abreast of current events as well as informed of frequently asked questions. We welcome questions and comments, especially feedback on how we can make this site a useful tool for accessing resources relative to solid waste management in the three county area. Again, thank you for visiting! Sincerely, Gilbert L. Chichester, |
